Register of Baptisms
The Register of Baptism dates from 1817. The first entry being that of a baptism administered in Jaffna, Issac son of Wibley and Elizabeth born on April 24th, 1817 and baptised on May 4th, 1817.

The first Baptism recorded in the All Saints Church, Galle, is of Constance Maria, daughter of William Henry and Magaret Harriet Jansz, born on March 7th, 1871 and baptised on April 2nd, 1871. Lieutenant W. Wincent Legge (later Captain) - Ceylon's foremost Orthinologist and Frances Ann Talbor Legge's daughter Elizabeth Frances Eleanor has been baptised on July 20th, 1872, at the All Saints Church, Galle and was born on May 7th, 1872.

Also Hugh Lewis, son of Hugh Nevell, CCS and Alice Blanche was baptised on September 17th, 1877. First Government Archivist, First Secretary of the Dutch Burger Union - R.G. Anthonisz and his wife Harriot Catherine Eilen's daughter Anna Maria was baptised on June 13th, 1880. She was born on May 24th, 1880
